    To Die for

I ordered some 223 dies around mid April from Midway - and I'm still waiting! Just got off the phone and they are saying "about 2 weeks". When I placed the order they said first week of May, then late May, then early June. Now it is mid-late June.

The irony is during this time I've managed to secure primers, powder, projectiles, all at reasonable prices. I've deprimed, swagged, and cleaned all the 223 bras I can find - but can't go any further without dies.

Anyone know who might have a set of Lee 223 dies in stock?

The irony is I have 45-70 gov dies and brass ready to go, but no large rifle primers. If it isn't one thing, its another....like my mama always told me....

I've had good luck getting dies from Grafs and Sinclair even when Midway, Cabelas, Natchez are out of stock

That's odd, I ordered mine last month and they shipped about a week later. They were Lee deluxe rifle dies.

I just recieved a set of Forster dies a week ago from Lock Stock and Barrel. They were out of stock on a set so I just bought a FL die and a bench rest seater seperately. It was only like 5 bucks more buying them seperate. LS&B are the only ones I know that sell individual dies like that.

Unfortunately that is the deluxe set - which has a collet neck sizing die and no roll crimp die. Since both my .223's are auto loaders I only need the full size die and should prob crimp. Bummer though, that guy is just over the hill from me.
