Frankford Arsenal Lite Not Working For Me

I put just under 100 30-06 cases and 2lbs of SS media in my FA Lite tumbler, and the cases just roll around on the bottom, no flipping and tumbling action.

I've had this for a while, so I know if I put more cases in it, then it will work better, but I rarely have to tumble more than 100 cases.

I want it to work for the smaller batches (like 50-100).

I've thought of putting a drum paddle or two in there made from PVC, with some 2 part marine epoxy. But I'm hopeful there is a better way. Any ideas?

I would remove two handfuls of brass.
    100. 30-06 cases is alot.for the little version.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

I have the Platinum series tumbler. I wish they would have had the lite model when I bought.

I had problems with mine when I first used it. I had to add more cases and water to make it work. It just needed some more weight. You might need some more SS pins. Have you ever tried using SS chips?

I wonder if using some kind of degreaser on the contact points might help.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Really? Because I've done 50>/= in it before and it gets worse. After annealing them just now I determined I had exactly 80 in it.

Funny because I was thinking about upgrading to the big one just to get the extra grip from the rubber and it seems like the angular velocity is significantly better as well.

I'll probably try extra SS pins, that sounds like a good idea because whenever I add more to it, it works better. Might be an easy fix if it works. And I have not tried chips in mine. As far as degreaser, it might be worth a try but I'd assume the soap is already a good enough degreaser.

I’ve heard of some people modifying by adding fins inside the tumbler
I have the same model tumbler and also shoot in short sessions with these shortages and regret not getting the platinum series
