    Winchester 296 powder

Does anyone still load with this? I used to load 30 carbine, .410 shotgun, 357 mag, 44 mag and 45 Colt with it.

I think it's been superseded by H-110 which is more readily available. It works great in large magnum handgun loads

Exactly, but you hardly ever see 296

                How cheap Tom?

I still reload all of those calibers.

We have done deals in the past.

I have lots of magnum primers. Not for sale but just right for 296.

That is an exceptionally generous offer. Good on you.

When did they become the same? I used both way back when and I thought they were different.

Not sure of the date but Hodgdon makes both now. I think they make all the Winchester powders.
