    Help identifying ammo!

Due to a death in family, I’ve acquired some ammo that I do not need. Some of it has been identified as 30-06 and 270 WIN, but I’m unsure what the other calibers are and I’m hoping some CalGuns members can assist me. I’ve attached photos of what is in both ammo cans.

    UPDATE:

I no longer have the ammo, but I do still have the Lake City 1969 .308 link blanks that I’ll be listing for sale in the proper section.

That linked ammo is considered a high capacity magazine in CA.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

The blanks might could be '06 also, for a 1919 Browning. Compare a cartridge from the clips to a linked cartridge, in length from the base to the shoulder. .308 will be noticeably shorter.

Might be the terrible picture quality but the linked stuff doesnt look like real ammos to me. Kinda looks like something you would get at the Halloween Store.

I’m a LEO, so that doesn’t really apply to me. I also am not interested in jamming anybody up either. If anybody has use for it I’m going to sell it.

Are you gonna sell the Garand clips? Some clips alone, minus the ammo are highly collectable

You can sell 10 links at a time or to someone out of state I guess.

If more than ten rounds are linked, then yes. The state of California defines a large capacity magazine as "any ammunition feeding device with a capacity to accept more than 10 rounds."

It applies if you attempt to sell, transfer, or give them away. I suppose you could transfer them to another LEO, but legally you cannot even sell them to someone out of state. Break them up into 10 round sections, and all is good. Sell them to a "regular joe" in a belt that is greater than 10 rounds, and you will be jamming someone up.
