Issues with loading ss109

I'm battling two issues at once, since it's a longer projectile I need to seat a bit deeper for mag fit, but some fall straight through or sit very loosely at the mouth. I don't have this problem with traditional projectiles. What do my fellow ss109 loaders say?

Are these pulled projectiles?
If so, they may have been squeezed down during the initial crimp.

Try sizing your neck so it's a little smaller and will hold on to the bullet better.

I have used the ones from American Reloading without any issue. I would check with calipers whats off your case or projectile.

Calipers are not really accurate enough for this job.
Calipers should generally not be trusted when ACCURATE measurements to the 0.001" are required.
That's the domain of Micrometers.

62 grainers are only a tiny bit longer than 55 grainers. Real M855 or SS109 bullets also have a cannelure, that's your seating depth. I've never had any problem with them.

Ive loaded tons of SS109s never a problem. I agree with the above maybe they are smaller or you need to size a little more.

I have used pulled SS109's with marks even, but they all fit in the Dillon button-sized carbide-.223... cases, even the ones that have been reloaded maybe 12+ times.
