Haven't reloaded in months so i may have forgotten if this is normal. If any of you guys know when the case is pulling away from the autodrum on the down pull, theres resistance pulling the brass away. Including the small play (springy-ness) from the dillon plate, this causes some unique powder to sometimes jump out of the case. I don't remember this being a problem with 45 but thats because unique fills up 9mm cases. At this point I'm thinking of using my Dillon powder measure for 9mm and the Lee autodrum for 45.

I've only ever dropped stick powder with the lee drum, disks for fine powder. Now I use the Lyman 6th powder scale dispenser for my accurate stuff. -
Only guessing.
Is the expander/case mouth flair, in the powder drop getting stuck in the case?
If so maybe back it out a little.

From what lee has told me is the expander getting stuck to the case is normal as the pop on the pull up is to shake down any lingering powder flakes in the drum. It cant be backed out otherwise the drum wont get a full rotation to drop the powder. I'll play around with other powders and see If a less full case will still pop out any flakes.Comment
