38 and 357 are usually the same, if you're talking about Lee dies, weren't they $40 before?

They may have been $40 in the past, but this is current times and $62 is a good price during these current times for new reloaders that didn't purchase equipment pre pandemic / pre election.

Just picked up a set, I had the notification alert set up but for some reason it didn't let me know they were back in stock. Thanks for the heads up!

9mm gone. I think my last 4 die deluxe set was $59.99. So with 2021 price increases and updates to the dies they are still cheap.

Lee makes .38 and .357 dies. I don’t think the .38’s will full length resize a .357 case

I use Midway sometimes to check up on product numbers so I can check prices elsewhere. They are listed as the same. It could be that they used to make 2 different ones or another set not in 4pcs. But the one I saw, with a drop down menu to choose 9mm,38,357 etc, the latter 2 are listed the same.

Well that's weird. I've got the 38/357 Lee dies you refer to. I just bought the 357 dies at Midway and and they now have 38 die sets available. I don't need them but figured I'd buy to see what the difference is, if there is any.

Nonsense. I've reloaded and shot tens of thousands of both .38 and .357 with my Lee .38/357 dies. Yes, the .38's will resize a .357 case.

I believe the only difference between Lee .38 Special and .357 dies is the paper insert with load data on the instruction sheet.
