How long have you had the Glock, mine actually had to go through 100 rounds or so of my reloads. I also had to go down in my OAL but that's for a different bullet profile, it was really rounded. Berry's should be good to go. Maybe you didn't clean the resizing residue off the cases? Also, have you only shot your reloads or have you shot store bought ammo, how did those go?

1.2 to 1.169 is lowering OAL which is increase in pressure.

Glock has had about 1,000 rounds of factory Ammo though it. Only a about 50 reloads through it.

While a longer oal will decrease pressure relatively, I don't know how much that will be versus your .2 gr increase in powder charge. Try a couple mag fulls worth. I would make sure that oal plunk tests in your barrel first. If it doesnt drop in flush then you just adjust seating die down more till the loaded round does plunk test fine, then load some varying lots with different charges of powder for testing.

It's not much different with other powders. Once you get comfortable with changing up powder charges and OAL you will be loading like gangbusters.

Some people like lighter recoiling rounds and in those cases you get a nice light recoiling round and then start to play with recoil spring weights to get the gun to function with the round. More than one way to tailor a lot for a purpose.

Would anyone recommend a different power? I know it’s hard to come by right now but any other suggestions in case I can get my hands on a different power

I usually start in the dead-middle of load data...
Not the bottom, and not the top.

It saves time ...not barely cycling, and still in a safe range, generally speaking, but I use mid-jacket data for plated (for Powder coats too).

(I try to keep PC, and wax-lubed lead around ~1000FPS, in case of leading issues. I generally shoot some FMJ, or plated after lead or PC after non-copper coated, to ease cleaning after.)

Berry's plated is my preferred bullet these days (same as shown in your photo). I use the same recipe I did with 115 grain FMJ bullets (5.0 grains of W231). I have loaded and shot thousands of rounds with this recipe in my G19 without a single hiccup.
