ANYONE EVER TRY 55 GRAIN WITH VV540

All I can find is load data for I think 62 grains and up and all I have is 55 grain I just wanted to know if anybody has a any information on a good starting load for that weight of bullet with that type of powder or if it's even safe to do it is there a formula that i could use to determine the the starting load for a bullet that is five to six grains lighter than the starting projectile weight on the actual load data.?

Have tried N540 in 223 (AR set-up) using 80+ grain bullets. Very good results but a very expensive powder.

Go to the Vitha Vouri website for the reloading data.

Yeah I happened to come across some and I loaded some 3006 with it but every where I look the 556 /223 load data starts off with bullets in the high 60 grain weights . I decided to do a few with an average of the increments available then reversed it not to go past the lowest or highest in the spread . Then looked at comparable powders and checked that out too .

Case fill seems to be a problem.

        Code:
        Cartridge : .223 Rem. (SAAMI)
        Bullet : .224, 53, Hornady V-MAX BT 22265
