    Powder Order Delay?

    I ordered some powder 24 lbs. last week and it was shipped on Friday, when I hit the track button I got the following message:

    Status: PKG DELAY-ADD'L SECURITY CHECK BY GOV'T OR OTHER AGENCY- BEYOND UPS CONTROL / PACKAGE WILL BE DELIVERED NEXT BUSINESS DAY-NO SATURDAY GUARANTEE
    Service: GROUND

    05/29/09 9:57 PM PKG DELAY-ADD'L SECURITY CHECK BY GOV'T OR OTHER AGENCY- BEYOND UPS CONTROL / PACKAGE WILL BE DELIVERED NEXT BUSINESS DAY-NO SATURDAY GUARANTEE CHATTANOOGA TN

    anybody know what this is about?

      apparantly that happens on occasion. Other calgunners have mentioned seeing the same thing, and we never hear from them again

      J/K, usually shows up a day later with no issues.

        I had it sent to my work address...lol, won't they be surprised when they show up at the Police Department to kick in my office door!!

          Just make sure if it is not your own company, that your company do not have any company policy against hazmat/exposive @ work (PVI's shipment is marked very clearly as such)... personally, I would hate to loose my job over a PVI powder/primer shipment....

            That is good advice, I luckily got that one covered, I am the Rangemaster, get all kinds of good stuff there!
