Working on first reloads

I made another dummy around. Brass is at 1.750 and I seated the bullet at OAL 2.200.
I still get the scratches on the bullet.
The way I chamber it is load it in the magazine and release the BCG.
Picture below, hopefully its clearer.
Any thoughts?

That's just the nature of a semi-auto.
If you don't want marks on the bullet from chambering, don't use a magazine-fed semi-auto.

Thanks Randall. I'm fine with the marks if its normal. Was just worried if I had done anything wrong. Do you suggest to keep this COL (2.200) or go back to the first (2.240) where I could crimp on the cannelure?

Seat the bullets so that 1/3 of the cannelure is above the case mouth and 2/3 of the cannelure is under the case neck.
