    Graff&Sons... IN STOCK LIES?

I ordered some brass that said it was "in stock" on Dec. 7th...
    IT BLOODY SHIPPED TODAY?!?!?!?

THAT is a bit ridiculous... especially for IN STOCK items...

    Anyone else with these issues?

Grafs website specifically states right on the top of the opening page, "Due to this high volume of orders, shipping will be delayed 10-14 Business Days" .

If you ordered on the 7th, and they shipped on the 23rd, then they shipped your order in 12 "business" days.

I placed two orders with them, one end of November, the other beginning of December. On both orders, the items showed either in stock, less than 5 in stock, or only 1 in stock. I received both shipments, one took about 10 days before shipping and the other 14, and I received every single item I ordered, to include the only 1 in stock and less than 5 in stock items, despite those items showing out of stock a couple days after I placed my orders.

Yep. Almost anything Ive ordered that is in demand was super delayed.

Midsouth Shooting Supply, about 2 weeks.

Powder Valley, 1 week, and I felt lucky.

        RMR Bullets, 3 months.

Only Midway USA and T Rex Arms have been able to ship next day for me. And Amazon.

Have some cheese to go with your whine.
They are too busy to ship out immediately and they even have a notice on their site telling you that.
          It's happening that way everywhere.
          Everyone is experiencing this.
Perhaps you have a reading comprehension problem?

Also, in stock at the moment you ordered it does NOT mean that someone else had not already ordered it before you and it had not been pulled off the shelf to fulfill the previous order or the stock status updated yet.

So John orders it in the morning of the 7th, then you order it in the afternoon of the 7th.
They pull john's order on the 14th and when they go to pull your order, there are none left to pull.
That's how your order gets changed to out-of-stock.
Be thankful you actually got what you ordered within a reasonable timeframe.

              Yes.
Ammo is out of stock, forcing 10's of thousands of people to begin reloading.
That puts all the reloading tools and components out of stock as everyone scrambles to try to get tools and supplies to load ammo.
This takes the 2008 primer shortage to several higher levels.

You can't even get shotshell primers.
When was the last time you saw shotshell primers out of stock?

I bought an atacr scope and some custom dies this month and told both parties not to ship the items until January.
A typical mail route in the office I work at will see 140-170 packages each day.
During the Covid19 scare the same route would get 240-300 packages a day.
During the Christmas season that route will get up to 500 packages on a Monday.
I would rather wait two weeks and get my item than try and get reimbursed for it after it goes missing.

                  Dude really.

It's on the webpage. Delay in shipping.
I have ordered twice. It's a family business. Always good service.
It's just the panic that's messing up shipping. Nobody would think it would last this long.
You should be thankful. They can still get.stock to ship.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

They have always been a good place to deal with but their shipping is the slowest, even slower then PSA.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

OP, were you dealing with Graf, or one of the Sons? It makes a difference

Go look at black powder revolvers, lead balls, pyrodex, and percussion cap availability/inventory.

You know there is panic out there when black powder revolvers and supplies dry up.....

This thread is full of epic fail.

Anybody who hasn't been living under a rock for the past 9 months should not be surprised by a shipping delay for firearm related supplies. Not to mention there's a big bright header right there on the website where you ordered from.

Grafs is a good company and I'm happy to support them any time I can. Plus their $9.95 flat shipping for any purchase is hard to beat, except for free shipping of course. I got my Coax press from them back in April when it was out of stock everywhere. Shipping might take a few days but at least you're going to get it. Relax.
