Dillon Shipping?

Has anyone actually received anything ordered from Dillion? I'm on 3 months today on a caliber change kit for a 750. I know the website said delayed shipping but man....

Funny you should ask. I placed an order on Friday 12/11 for a 750 with 223 conversion expecting a delay of several months. To my surprise I received a shipping notice email on Saturday and it's out for delivery today. Talk about a Christmas miracle.

Guess it all depends on what you ordered.

NEW carbide .223 dies... People that get them are flipping them for a GOOD profit on eBay, it seems.

I backordered a xl750 9mm conversion kit on 11/24. Got a tracking number a few days ago. Hasn't actually shipped yet though...

I placed an order for the same conversion kit on 11/30/2020 And have not received any shipping conformation yet, I did receive everything else from the order though. I will give them a call tomorrow.

Update: I just reread your post, and realized you ordered the whole machine with the 223 conversion, I only ordered the conversion kit, so I guess I will have to wait longer.

I ordered a 9mm caliber exchange kit and a case feeder plate thingy. So far, only got the case feeder thingy. Still waiting for the rest.

My recent experience (part three or four months) on broken press replacement parts has been variable.

I decided to buy the parts and worry about warrantee replacement later (didn't want to spend hours on the phone and didn't want to send in the press if asked, not knowing how long it'd take for turnaround). One part came in under a week. A later order took around a month.

I ordered a 1050 in 9mm plus mr. Bullet feeder. The bullet feeder shipped in a few days, still pending on press and dies. I sent them a message via their website order support to see if they could send the press asap and dies later, but no reply

I ordered a 750 on 11/15. I got my 750 on 12/10. But the 9mm caliber conversion wasnt in the box. I called them and they said caliber conversion are no longer shipping with the press and are back ordered for 5 weeks. I then went and bought all the 9mm caliber conversion parts 1 by 1 off dillons site. They shipped that day and I had them two days later.

Moral of the story? If you need a caliber conversion kit, order it part by part and you'll get it ASAP. If you order it as a kit, it could take a while.

PS. I still haven't received the 9mm caliber conversion kit dillon owes me.
