Interesting headstamp

Here is a good one, a friend left me a bucket full of brass that included some misc. Loaded ammo, maybe a couple dozen 38s, a few 25-35 sharps, 30-30, 300savage, 303 savage, a 38 short colt, 1 of what looks like a .32 of some sort. And some misc 20, 16, and .410 shells mixed paper and early plastic. Among all of this odd stuff was this gem.* I'm pretty sure its a 30-06 manufactured by US Cartridge Company in 1918. Haven't put a mic on it yet so can't confirm its 30-06.

Yes, M-1906 30/06. I had a couple hundred rounds of that US C CO 18 in bandoleers. I fired some of it. Had quite a few of hangfires.

Pulled down the rest of it, took an average weight of the powder charge. Took the reclaimed powder and bullets and reloaded them into WWII 30/06 cases with new primers. I shoot it out of my 03 A3.
