Inexpensive lighting solution for reloading press found

I found an LED light at my local computer store yesterday for $7 that is well suited to illuminating work on my Lee Classic Turret Press. It has a magnetic base, flexible neck and runs on one AAA battery. It is especially helpful for confirming powder is in the case before seating a bullet.

That's real nice. I can certainly relate to needing more light and for me magnification.

Photo of mine is below. I sometimes just shine the light on what I'm working on and use it as a lamp.

It is an anti-gun conspiracy, as you get older they cut the voltage at your sub panel one volt each year --- :-)

I use an led that drops down the cenetr hole in the dillon press. Works great. The same idea as you are using. It is a big help in areas that are not as well lit as they should be.

That's cool, but I went the extremely low-tech super triple old school route:

1940's doctors lamp on wheels- It was free, but I may have consumed at least $7 in electrical power by now. it's also great for working underhood on cars since the bulb itself has a glare shield.

Costco closed out some magnetic/clamp LED BBQ lights with a flexible neck a couple of years ago. I grabbed 4 of them and use them for camping and on the reloading bench. Will try to remember to snap some pics next time they are set up.
