    LAX Ammo- what happenned?

Before Ammogeddon, LAX Ammo was all about find your local FFL and they'd ship your order. All good. Now, they won't ship to any FFL, even those they had relationships with before.

What happened to make the wheels come off (even at the higher prices)?

If true, and I hope its not, then it's not surprising that the department of health would have a problem with them.

My experience there a couple months ago was that they don't strictly follow covid safety guidelines.

If its for Covid reasons, then I get it. Don't like it, but I get it.

I have not been too happy with them lately, but since i do like the shop im just going to give it time. Covid and the elections have definitely been hard for the industry. Honestly though i probably wont be back till after its all settled down.

This spun out of direction a bit (as the internet tends to do). What I wrote/asked was, what occurred that made them stop shipping individual's orders to local FFL's? Wondering if its something fixable or not.

Are they shipping OUT of state? Or just, NOT at all?

it is probably an issue with supply and struggling to fill local orders instead... but I'm just guessing here

Probably right. It might be they are filling in large orders with whatever components they have. Maybe police department orders? They need to keep their main customers happy. And they may be having the same primer/powder finding issues that we have, even if they buy in bulk straight from the manufacturer, those manufacturers may be using their primers/powder for their own loaded ammo products to meet their large customers. So LAX ammo might be starting to suffer the same as we hobby reloaders.
