I throw my brass in my rcbs west tumbler for 45min with 4lbs of pins and tiny bit of rcbs solution. Tumbles for 45min, pour out in separator, throw onto towel for a day or two. Pretty dam simple. If you want them dry faster, just put them on a cookie sheet in the oven at 200 for 1hr...

I just use a FA dry tumbler but I soak the brass in vinegar and water for 30-40 minutes to get most of the powder residue out, just rinse and spread them out flat on a towel to dry, then tumble 1 hour. The media last longer without all that crud.

Also, I buy lizard bedding from a pet store instead of "Tumbling Media", same ground walnut and cheaper.

Honestly buy the dillon 750xl... i made the mistake of buying a single stage and then regretted it.

are you planning to reload rifle or pistol...the reason i ask is when i first started i purchase both a single stage reloader as well as a progressive reloader figuring i would need both (Forster Co-Ax and a Dillon 650XL). As it worked out, to date i only reload rifle. Embarrasingly the Dillon is still in the box it was shipped in, never even opened the darn thing.

my neighbor is an old time bullseye shooter, he's forgotten more about firearms than i'll likely ever learn. he uses a Thumler Tumbler he purchased several decades ago, he keeps it in his garage and sets his cases in the Thumler overnight....his brass comes out beautifully polished. had i not purchased a standard vibrating tumbler i might have strongly considered the Thumler.

Hornady LNL, I do about 10 calibers from 9mm to .338WM on it. Sometimes single stage and sometimes progressive. I don't know the 750, but the other Dillons I looked at didn't look friendly to hand feeding or single stage type use. And the Hornady is immune to primer tube detonations, that was another big factor for me, but others don't seem to care about that possibility with the Dillon since it's fairly rare.

I wet tumble. For small batches I use a double drum rock tumbler from Harbor Freight, often with only one drum. For big batches I use a FART, Frankford Arsenal tumbler. I find both tumblers frequently useful for other things; cleaning parts, mixing paint, etc. I used only the rock tumbler for a few years and I could live without the FART, but it's nice to have.
