    primer differences

Getting semi-ready to load about 2500 223, 5.56 rounds. Have 2000 cci 41 primers. Will I notice any difference in the other 500 rnds loaded with reg cci srp, win srp, or fed srp ? Be using 25gr h335 ,Hornady 55gr fmjwc with mixed brass. Any preference as to the other primers I mentioned. Never had any problems with the 41s. Thanks in advance...captn-tin

If you have a hot load ,the 41s will be less likely to primer pierce.
    Keep it simple!

in CA, where we complain about mid 50s being cold, you probably won't even notice the difference

Not to hijack the thread but I found a box of 1k cci 450 magnum among my boxes oc cci 400 small rifle primers. I have been using rhe 400s for both 223 (BL-C) and 300 blk (Lil' Gun) and was wondering if the 450s would be usable in either and if so how would I need to adjust where I start my powder load for the ladder(s)?

Reduce load half a grain to reduce chamber pressure although they will still be fine in ars.

During the last shortage, I loaded what I could with what I could, and did some testing...

"As I recall" #41's in 9mm with the same charge as SPP's, I got about an AVG of +50FPS (#41's magnum equiv?).

I also loaded .223/5.56 with SPP's of various makes, but didn't chrono, and they shot fine, but I use iron sights at 50, 75, and 100yd, so not sure about pristine accuracy.
