Long supply line and a popular powder make for a long wait.I wouldnt be surprised if it was another year until supply returned.
In the interim I will be using Shooters World precision.1st test will be a 200yd highpower match this Sat.Expectations are high as I have witnessed good results from a high level shooter this last weekend at the CA service rifle championship.
    Keep it simple!

If Joe wins all we will have is double barrel shotguns we can stick out of our bedroom window to scare off burglars, and the cops will have to aim for the legs.

Shortages like this is when trying something different is the best thing.
          BLc-2, Win748, H335, H332, RL15 etc etc.
Personally I prefer flake to stick powders but it also depends what I am loading for.

it's a bit of a bummer, i had worked up 2 very nice loads using Varget (one in 6.5x47L and one in 6.5 Creedmoor). I had hoped to stick with Varget but if it will take a year till it returns to market i guess i'll just have to start over with a different powder. Now to do some research and see what might work....i think i have a little VV550 left?

I don't care - it will be back before I run out.

I like Varget as well. I'm good for now but the future is always uncertain relative to firearms and reloading.

Just picked up some of the 748 and BLc-2 last week from Powder Valley. They had both 1 and 8 pound containers.
