    While unpacking found these among others

    Remember this from my Dad's inventory. Having just moved ourselves I am finding all kinds of fun stuff long forgotten in storage.

    While these are still available for purchase I believe these may be from the late 70's. They sure seem like they would sure pack a punch going at a bit over 4000fps.

    Possibly not legal in all states I'm sure since they love to restrict what they can.

      I picked up a few boxes and loose projectiles too

      If you could hit a varmint with them, they would release pink mist

      the sabot did not seem to give clean separation so accuracy was meh...


      Over clocking the bullet might also have been to much as the jacket on .223 is thin and some might have come apart in flight

                          460 Weatherby Magnum at 4,357 fps with a homemade aluminum bullet (not sure about weight) and 110 grains of H110. Pictures attached.
