Went to the local Sportsman's Warehouse and up jumped the devil.



I went looking for a Limbsaver for my 870 Rem pump 12 ga. and a set of Redding 6.5 dies but they didn't have those. They did have these and small pistol primers. The limit is 1 so I bought these as I have wanted to try SRP magnums in some of my loads and I only had a 100 sleeve or so and that's not enough to work with for long. So the moral of this little story is that stuff is still out there, ya just cant give up on looking. Good luck

I found some magnum pistol powder today at the feed store...two types. They had rifle and shotgun primers too! I did not walk out empty handed.

They've been good. When ammoseek showed no primers, you could still order from Sportsmans for pickup. CCIs were the expensive ones too, at $23.99/k (here in Idaho). Remingtons were $19.99/k. I scooped up ~43k from them starting in June or July (1k per day for same product). It dried up online in Sept. Then I noticed they were silently putting them on the shelves and not updating their site. They want you to come in and check.

When opportunity knocks open the door. I always try to look, if something is there and it's needed then pick it up. I see a few people here that are doing just that and it's encouraging. Don't give up.

Picked up a pound of Win 296 today, again from Sportsman's. Went down to see the show, it is entertaining. Lots of very put out people drove a long way to get even more disappointed and put out.

Their primers are cheap, but the powders are expensive. Usually ~$30/lb, but they typically have 296, 231, CFE 223 & BLC(2) even though their site never shows it in stock.
