I recently purchased a few hundred Hornady 22 Cal FMJ. When comparing this recent purchase to the ones I already have, I noticed that the location of the cannelure is closer to the tip then that of the bullets I already have. I would estimate it's about cannelure width forward. Is this typical with different lots? The newest purchase was not in a factory Hornady box, so no way to confirm they were actually Hornady, but the seller listed as such.
