    Good old days 2010 prices

American reloading, almost all projos were 29.00 per 1k, free ship no tax. Yup, 9, 40, 45, 223 all were cheap. Shipping took a month or two. Always had 200 or more extra.

    Primers, S&B 16.00 shipping 1.00, haz 1.00. Winchester was 20 or so.

Powder one could find as cheap as 10 a pound from personal sellers. Store was 15 or 20.

A bag of shot was 24 bucks at my local range.

    Wheel weights were free.

Brass was almost free as no one picked up the brass. I'd come home with a bucket, sometimes two buckets of brass at the range.

Oh well. Things will never be the same again[emoji3525].

IMO when things come back in stock we will see price increases it seems the normal after every panic buying,or shortage they see what suckers pay for components and dont want to lose out.

I went in deep, spent a couple grand in ammo and loading components a few years back when the prices broke, glad I did.

I used to do a lot of 45 acp and bought everything in bulk. My 2006 unit cost for all components was $0.06! I think it was 1.5 cents per primer, 1.5 cents powder, and 3 cents projectile (185 lead SWC from a local company). Such days

I remember primers in 2014 being $13.00 per 1,000. Yep, you read that right. Anyone remember the Tulammo brand? Well, they imported primers as well, and you know what? They're actually very good!

Things will come back to reasonable levels. We may not see $13.00/1000 for primers, but even after the terrible Sandy Hook event and the subsequent ammo shortage, when even .22LR was basically nonexistent, we saw things come back to normal.
