    MEN 17 556 Brass?

Finding a good quantity of MEN 17 556 in some range brass that I'm sorting. Tried searching for info on it as to quality or lack thereof for reloading but didn't turn up anything other than it's German manufacture. Anyone know anything about it?

Further searching seems to show that prior to around 2016, MEN ammo in both 7.62 and 5.56 was Berdan-primed then was changed to Boxer-primed, at least what was being imported to the US by Magtech. The discussions I found were on the Boxer-primed 7.62's quality which is said to be very good. The 5.56 I'm finding is definitely Boxer-primed with Red sealant around the primers. Initially was leery at first as Magtech branded brass seems to be poorly regarded. They were/are the Importer of this MEN stuff, not the Manufacturer so guess I'll keep it and see how it works out...

IF it's headstamped MEN, it's German, and good stuff; I don't care WHO imports it, under what label.

I've never met a German made ammo that I don't like. I still shoot German 8mm from 1938

I've been reloading a BUNCH of MEN16 7.62 brass in the last few months. Good thick, and shiny stuff. Have only about three firings on one set, so not sure on longevity. But from how it looks, I expect it to last a long time.
