Container for storing powder?

What is the best container and material for storing less than 1lbs of BLC-2.

I want to remove small amount from 8 lbs container.

I second the notion of powder bottles for powder storage. That's why I keep a couple of empties on hand--washed out and with the labels removed to prevent mixups (When used, I write the powder type on the outside with a silver Sharpie).

Second would be a opaque teflon Nalgene lab bottle (Not the HDPE or lexan containers that pass light). Powder bottles are made of black plastic for a reason: light can accelerate the breakdown of chemical compounds.

When I buy 8 pound kegs, I also buy 1 pound can or plastic container of powder. When I am done with 1 pound, I pour the powder from 8 pound keg into the 1 pound can.

I have went in halves with a friend a few times on 8lbs of powder. I usually end up having to find a 4lb container. I have used plastic cookie jar type containers (stole from the kitchen). The type that have the air tight squeezy thing at the top to remove/replace the lid. They are clear, but they also spendd all there time in an enclosed cabinet. I like the idea of using nalgene water bottles though.
