Still have a couple boxes of Super X in 30-30 and .270 Win. And I don't even have a.270 any longer. Good stuff!

This is all 175 gr 7X57 Mauser ammo and the Rem is what shoots best in my Mauser. The Fed is next and the Win is last, but they all shoot well enough to hunt with.

Not only do I remember I still have boxes of each. I also have ammo in earlier boxes. I have Alcan ammo, Herters(the original) bullets also.
That really dates me.

The one ammo collector I met said you know the box of ammo was old when it does not have warning labels all over, like ammo produced in more modern days.

Old to who? them will kill deer's to. Back when those were new we could buy that box of ammo in the morning and by that night killed our 2 deer for the season, at least where I hunted.

I collect old ammo and won't shoot it. I have all the ammo I need to shoot. This stuff is history. I have some old 03 stuff too.
