Helpful Mods to my Lee Loadmaster

After several times of no primer and dropping a powder charge I did some searching and found couple ideas. I added a $4 green led light to the shell plate carrier. Had to drill 8mm hole mount the light. I also added a cheap endoscope camera to improve the view of primer and powder failures. Cam works on your phone Ipad or kindle fire tablet. See photo. If you see green light means no primer in case and you can see powder or no powder in case.

I watched some videos of Lee stuff and decided for forgo all their primer/bullet drop tubes. It is possible to have it operate almost like a progressive press but I'd rather have everything happen 100% even if it's a bit slower. How is the recovery time? Can you get a primer in without indexing accidentally?

But yes that is a cool mod!

I prime in a separate stage because I like to deprime and tumble before I reload I've had no priming issues doing it this way I then come back and change my setup and then I'll flare and drop powder seat the bullets and crimp in the next go around I do have the case feeder it works perfect no issues there

I also moded the feeder bowl on case feeder by using 1/2" plastic tubing from home depot cut in 3/8" lengths 4 pieces and put in holes on bowl. This reduces the hole size and 9mm drop 99% correct side up. Would have to remove for larger size cases.
