Blue dot, long shot and 800x are great powders. Large pistol primers. 180gr bullets and star line brass is a good start.
Good friends will come bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting next to you in the cell saying damn that was fun!

      ^^^^What he said!

If you plan on either collecting or buying "once fired" (prove it) range brass, I'll suggest getting the Lee Bulge Buster.

I bought a bag of range brass a couple years ago and neraly half was afflicted with Glock Smile. Some cases were so bad I just tossed 'em.

10mm is high pressure round, ensure primers are seated well, bullet crimped tight.

Don’t buy mixed brass, just start out with new brass. Work up a load and call it good. 800x will put a smile on your face just make sure to work up. Don’t go straight to max. If shooting a Glock and you want full power loads upgrade your recoil spring and guide rod so your not beating the frame.

Study published load data from the various sources (Lyman, Speer, Hornady, Nosler, Hodgden, etc.) then go from there.

OP all straight wall pistol cartridges reload about the same. Watch lotsa videos, even if the caliber is different.

Then get a safe starting recipe. The guys have provided some good ones.

When 10mm makes it to PCC you will be ahead of the game.

                Good luck and enjoy.

Good luck on finding your needed components. Primers gone, powders drying up, some projectiles not available. Last year would have been a better time to start this endeavor.

Getting into reloading now is akin to attending your first Culinary School without a kitchen.

Where are you located? I would be willing to sell a few hundred for the normal price if your close.
