I was in the Phoenix area yesterday and dropped by the Dillon factory store.
I go to that area a couple times a year and pick up small parts, some components, ammo boxes, or any other little things I need.
Well, the store was very bare, so bare, there was literally nothing I want available for purchase.
I was talking to the sales rep and was told the following. The essentially have no machine for sale. There a few machines packages with odd calibers still available, like a 550C setup for 45-70. But they are essentially sold out.
The have 1700 sets of 9mm dies on back order, paid for, waiting for the supplier to deliver. They have 1600 sets of Dillon Steel .223 dies on back order, paid for, waiting for supplies. This back order has happened in the last 2 weeks and they are no longer taking any back orders for either sets.
The salesman says he has never seen it this bad. he has been through the Clinton Assault rifle ban, Obama, Sandy hook, Las Vegas, but nothing has been like this.
I agree with many other ops, assuming Trump win re-election, it will be two years before things return to normal. It's anybodies guess if Biden wins.
