    Swager recommendation

Looking to process by 223/556 and 9mm brass. I have a Dillon 650 and 750.

Considering the Swage-it for either or both 650/750. I know it may void warranty so also considering manual Swagers.

    1. Dillon super swage
    2. Frankford Arsenal platinum series primer pocket swager (new version with stronger internals). This looks like a good option mounted to a desk where the swage rod automatically ejects.

    Thoughts?

I've been thinking about this lately. I am looking at a different approach. And I do not intend to involve a press. In part you are dealing with the military crimp???

Another consideration, although not earth-shaking, is the proper dimension for the flash hole.

Dillon. I like mine and I have tried many others.

              1050 or 1100
The time it saved in my life is worth it, no question about it.
How many hours does it take to swage a 5 gallon of cases? Imagine gaining that back in your life. Thats my lesson in loading and life.

Interesting thread! Must free myself from the firefight! But good luck with that!

Pickup a set of these guages.

OS right now. I think Brownells might have them.

I use the RCBS swagger that works with single stage press.
Just have to put a drop of oil on the pin every 10 cases or it starts to stick.
I get about 90% that passes the guage. The 10% I use a Lyman primer pocket reamer chucked in a drill.
If they still don't pass the guage. Goes in the recycling bucket.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Lee APP. The fastest swager around, sans 1050
