    62gr FMJ not necessarily SS109/M855?

So, if I'm shopping for ammo and it's marked 62gr FMJ, but then says it's not SS109/M855...what does that mean?

SS109 bullets as used in M855 amo incorporate a penetrator, but are not to be confused with black tipped armor piercing rounds.

So that link I posted up is likely same spec as the M855, but no penetrator?

          No. Not necessarily.

You need to read the Ammo Oracle and bring yourself up to speed.

I'm confused what you are even asking. The ammo in the link you posted is just regular 62gr FMJ.

Ah, OK. Ammo Oracle skooled me. I'm good to go now.
