    223 OAL question

Loading LC 223 brass and using Winchester FMJ BT 55 grain bullets with cannalure. OAL per my manual says 2.260" But for bullet to be in cannalure OAL is consistently 2.220" to 2.225".

Am I ok with that? Using 25.2 grains of 748, well below max charge.

With the WIN 55gr FMJBT w/c.... I would need to seat them to 2.22" for crimping...

Yes I did put a very light crimp on them.

I was concerned about causing to much pressure or some other dangerous situation.

2.260" is the maximum magazine length.
