I love cheap aluminum and steel case ammo - I’ve never had an issue with it. They do absolutely no harm to a firearm and save you money if you aren’t going to reload. I seriously want to fill a bathtub with Tulammo .

Aluminum vs Brass......

In 10mm, my S&W 1006 extractor would sometimes rip the rim OFF the case... so I'd need a pencil to poke it back out of the bbl.
Otherwise, I've NEVER had a problem with aluminum in any other firearm - especially .45acp, as I'm all-.45-all-the-time now. Safer in your gun than steelcase!!!

its good for cheap range ammo if you don't plan on reloading. Some guns dont like it though, it has extraction issues in my shield and ar-9Comment

I've shot tens of thousands of rounds of aluminum cased ammo through multiple guns. Never had a problem.
One benefit no one has mentioned is weight. A fully loaded mag of aluminum ammo weighs quite a bit less than the same mag loaded with brass ammo. So if you're humping a few boxes of ammo into the back country for some plinking, take aluminum cased ammo instead of brass."Show me a young conservative and I'll show you a man without a heart. Never had a problem with aluminum cased ammo. The only problem I’ve had with them was bullet setback after a couple of times feeding the same round. Not sure if it was just that batch. I was demonstrating proper slide release when chambering a round with a Sig P320 and a G35 with a 40-9 conversion.
I am aware bullet setbacks happens with brass cased ammo also, but it just seems the Al cased ammo was not very forgiving. The wise man said just find your place

Buddy of mine shot aluminum and the rear of the casing got chewed off and the rest of the shell was stuck in his barrel by the feedrampComment

For reloading, I would not trust aluminum. However, as factory ammo, there's nothing wrong with shooting it. When Walmart was still carrying handgun ammo, I'd shot plenty of 9mm aluminum out of Glock 17's and 19's, Ruger SR9's, Beretta 92's, and S&W M&P's. No problems whatsoever.
BTW, I do reload steel Tulammo cases; some of them do use Boxer primers. They actually work pretty darn well and I always get at least 5 reloads out of 'em. Of course brass is better, but in a pinch, I'll run with steel."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"
