Assuming you're talking vibe tumbling:

Jewelers rouge (red iron oxide powder - makes a mess, but works well)
Any liquid car wax (cleaner waxes will remove more contaminants/corrosion)
Most liquid or semi-liquid metal polish (Brasso, Flitz, etc; read the makeup and take care if the stuff contains ammonia)

The advantage of the cleaner waxes is they leave something of a coating that *may* help prevent tarnishing from atmospheric exposure.

The advantage of the other two is they are mildly abrasive and help the media strip contaminants.

Alternatively, you can use straight media and run it longer.

Treated corn cob media with a used dryer sheet cut into 1/4ths for each batch. I also have some Midway additive I will add after many, many 1,000's of rounds if I think about it

If you must make your cases look like new, don't let me stop you.

I use range pickup. Wash them after decapping when I bring them home, then wash
em again after sizing to get some of the lube off. A little Lemishine and hot water gets most of the dirt and tarnish off.

I use the time I save by not polishing brass to measure individual powder charges with a balance scale instead of cheating with a thrower.

Are you sure you don't want to just go for wet tumbling instead? That will definitely get your stuff nice and shiny and your media will last practically forever (assuming you don't lose your pins down the drain).

Brasso. Sometimes I add a bit of Mineral Spirits as well.

I've only used walnut media so no history with corncob. I have a bottle of Lyman Turbo-Brite. I just replaced my media as i do about once per year - forgot how dusty new media is. The polish seems to eliminate the new media dust after a few runs.

Nu-Finish wax works really well. You can cut it a bit with mineral spirits, that way it integrates a little better.

If you're looking for super clean, wet tumble.

If you're looking for shiny and okay clean, dry tumble with corncob and a proper brass cleaning paste.

If you're looking for loadable, wipe 'em off and make sure they're not gritty.

I use a 50/50 mixture of crushed walnut and treated crushed corn cob. Turn it on, walk away for 3-4 hours, and return to some very shiny brass, in most cases, just about like new. I love it.

Wet tumbling : Lime Shine (couple buck at Walmart, will last you couple years)
Dry tumbling : Don't know.

I add water, soap, stainless steel pins and ditch the walnut.
