Armscor 357 Mag. - 125gr - FMJ Bullets Load data?

I asked once before but left that thread unsure. Figured I’d try to be more clear in my question here:

    I have some ArmscorPrecision - 357 Mag. - 125gr - FMJ Bullets

I Want to load up some plinking rounds with Unique. No load data in my books for this. Would anyone have safe load data for this combo? I’m new so if You get super technical you may lose me

I loaded some of these up with HP38. Do you have to use Unique?

I have used 7.8 gr of Unique with 125 gr Speer bullets. It runs about 1150 FPS from a 4-inch barrel, so is not too hot.

So the suggested 7.8 gr should be reasonable.

I have used the 7.8 gr of Unique load with plated 125 gr bullets as well. I just stopped using them as I disliked the ones I had that lacked a cannelure/crimping groove. This was just a nice shooting load - not max at all.

I just looked in 4 different manuals and the Hornady manual is the only one that DIDN'T have 357 125gr jacketed bullet data for Unique. The Alliant website also has data.

I have Hornady, Lee, and Lyman. None have 125gr FMJ for Unique. Lyman has 125gr Jacketed HP (longer than my bullet) But I’m new enough / don’t know enough that I don’t make any substitutions without checking. I looked on Alliants website, all I found was 125gr GDHP - maybe I missed it. Feel free to share your findings with me.

We usually cannot find data for our exact components, especially for handguns. We just have to use data for a similar bullet of the same construction.
