    Selling ammo to FFL

*****Mods, please move this if it's posted in wrong sub forum

Can a person sell off excess ammo to a FFL/gun store without a ammo vendors license & does the whole 500 rounds per month still apply? Thanks

Yes you can but, most shops are not willing to risk buying ammo from unknown sources. There's no way to tell if they are reloads or stored incorrectly and not worth the liability issues.

      It's new factory ammo.

It's sad that you can't sell more than 500 rds a month. 500 rds of CCI SV ammo could sell for $20 but if you have to pay $10 more to buy it is just STUPID. No one will pay that smdh. These communists have a plan.

Thank you for clarifying. So the 500 round/month limit still applies

The real question is ---How can anyone have "excess" ammo???
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
