Might try ebay for some prices. I looked a number of years ago and there isn't a big market for it unless it's really rare.

I came across some very similar paper hull 20 gauge shotshells from Federal a few months ago. They shoot great. My advice is to hang onto them, keep them dry, do a bit more research and see if they’re worth anything, and if not shoot them when you get a shotgun.

            ><

Sorry to say, not much collectors value. The Hawthorn Long Range may be worth a little bit more then just ammo to someone who wants to put it on a self.

I came across a case of paper hulled Western Super X 20ga a while ago, and shot most of it up hunting rabbits. Still have a box or two left. That's the value, putting meat on the table.....'cept you guys can't use lead any more.
Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

Hawthorne was a Trade Name ammo sold by Montgomery Wards and Western Auto stores.

Likely date for most of that ammo is late 50s to late 60s.

                No collector value, Sorry.

I have seen Hawthorne/Wards (empty) boxes go for $20 and if you have a full box to $40 to the right buyer, Wanda shells that I've seen for sale ranged in the $5 range per shell....There more of a curiosity round. Do your research to get the right value.

You might take a look at this and look up your shells:

Thank you to everyone that shed some light to these rounds. Definitely gonna look more into their value and hopefully find a buyer. I’d rather have these preserved and someone enjoy them, rather than shooting them off. Thank you again!
