9mm and 38s

ok i've got another question...

it has recently come to my attention that there is a.002 difference in sizes between 9mm and 38/357. my question is had anyone ised lets say... 125 cast 38 lead for a 9mm load? if so, how was the results?

Lead bullets for the 9mm are usually sized .356 and the 38/357 bullets are sized .359-.360. A .359-.360 bullet won't fit in a .356 case mouth. You will have to bell the crap out of the 9mm casing or size the bullet to .356.

I use Lasercast 125gr FP (.359") under 3.9-4.2 grains of 231 in my Beretta. They shoot great, under 1" at 15 yards. The OAL is 1.050" and it likes FC primers best. No leading. They fit perfectly in the .3595" Beretta throat.
