No disrespect intended, and I'd be pissed if I had your experience but I'll share the opposite type of story just because....
Last week I decided to throw down on an XL750 with all the fixin's.... Decided to call the order in because I had a lot of questions. Was like 48th in line when it started, finally got someone on the phone and the guy couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with or more helpful. Explained to me with the crazy demand some of what I ordered (huge order) was backordered 2-4 weeks. Things would ship as available. I've already received a good chunk of the order. So far, so good.
Also, I run a small business and rely on suppliers for various parts/services/equipment. Times are TOUGH and some are shining and some are failing. I think now is when we need to do our best to cut each other some slack and give the benefit of the doubt.
With that said, I hope your situation is resolved to your liking sooner rather than later... Good luck man. -
I've contacted them three times during this quarantine debacle. Yes I had to wait a long time----they too are short staffed and trying to work from home etc etc. Going through the same stuff we are. However----all three calls I got great service and my stuff---other than what is on back order was sent right out. Yes they are slammed as is every gun store and ammo store. They are no different. If you were backed up 30 calls at any given time and needed a break it might not have been your best moment. As for the defective part? Are you sure it's not your brass??Comment

I haven't called recently, but my experiences with them have been just the opposite. I called because I broke one of the parts. I told them the situation and gave him my cust ID. He said, ok, part #xyz. I said, I have my CC info handy. Nope. Already in the mail. No worries. Really? I let them know that I'm more than happy to pay for it since it was my screw up. Nope. No need.
That's my experience. Sorry for your experience OP and hope you can get it resolved with the seller.Les Baer 1911: Premier II w/1.5" Guarantee, Blued, No FCS, Combat Rear, F/O Front, Checkered MSH & SA Professional Double Diamond Grips

I called them twice in the past and this has been my experience both times. Which is why I really liked them. My experience today, while not the worst thing in the world, is a vast departure from what I'm used to seeing with them.I haven't called recently, but my experiences with them have been just the opposite. 5 different types of brass and it's always only this slot.
As I stated above, I've called them twice in the past and they've had SHINING customer service. I've had better experiences at the DMV so today was a disappointment compared to what I'm used to seeing with them.No disrespect intended, and I'd be pissed if I had your experience but I'll share the opposite type of story just because....

I have always had great service from them. They completely rebuilt my 550 after it was submerged in water and had rusted after I had moved. Had all my reloading supplies in a chest freezer, my dad opened the lid and didn't close it. I dropped it off in AZ and they said they would call when ready to ship so I could pay the shipping. 2 weeks later it showed up out of the blue fully upgraded. They even called to make sure it was working.Comment

Wellllll
I love my 550B. I've had it for over 20 years. All my past dealings I have been happy with, so that saying I decided to upgrade the Die nuts to the newer style 1" nuts. I bought 20 nuts for all my dies. I was shocked, floored, and bothered by the price of the nuts, just nuts for over $50.00 delivered to my house. Those nuts should not be over $1.00. I can not believe how much they overcharged. I will think twice, 3 times before I buy anything from them. Boy does my wallet hurt.NRA Benefactor Patriot Member

Dillon is great with CS normally. However I do have one complaint. Dillons actual online store shipping. I was going to order a powder measure lid, 550 caliber conversion and 2 replacement springs. It was $18.95 for JUST shipping. That was 1/3 of the total price of the products and can ship in a envelope for $3-5.00 Max.Comment

It's been years since I've needed to call Dillon, it's always been a good experience. Yesterday I decided that I'd spend my $1200 on a new XL750. The website states that if the billing address is different than the shipping address you have to call in the order. Since we don't have mailboxes we have to have a post office box and they can't ship the press to a PO Box I started calling just before 9 am.
After an hour plus I hear "Hello, this is Bob." Then I get disconnected. It happens, so I call again. Another hour plus and I'm #6 in the que and the line goes silent then dead. I really like the new press so I wait a while and place another call and I get down to #1 and a computer picks up and tells me that they're extremely busy and call again.
Needless to say at that point I decided that my XL650 isn't that bad after all. Maybe if I haven't blown the money on something else I'll give it a try again in a couple of weeks.
I'm still a happy Dillon customer. I hope that they get it sorted out soon.Comment
