I found some once fired brass behind a salt water fish tank I have in the garage. Some is prepped.
As you can see they got really corroded. I don’t know the exact chemical reaction but I know that material is some metal from the brass so the integrity is compromised.
Just curious what the word on the street is. Definitely throw it away or clean and look for pits?
The .223 is already trimmed and I’d like to save it but don’t need to. What’s the consensus.
The REALLY corroded 45 acp is from Winchester while the brass that looks brown and less corroded is federal. Interesting observation. Both subjected to same conditions.
