I have Lee challenger press on the surplus Rifle portable press table i maid. IT is a nice setup when it is to hot or to cold i reload in the house. If you want to try reloading to see if you like it with out buying a lot equipment. Try a Lee loader 15.00. Add a plastic Hammer, primers, power and you every thing you need to load a single caliber. I have loaded a lot of 38spl you can get pretty fast after you get used to it. Mike

I would not buy a single stage press that could not accept the Hornaday lock and load.

Lol, I have no idea what that does. The descriptions on their site don't help either.

It allows you to set up the die and lock it in place on the adapter then you can just twist it into the die holder. When you want to do another function you twis out the first adapter and twist in the next, it keeps the die in its place and you dont have to unscrew the dies and reset them every time you change functions. If you ever had to use a single stage press this saves a lot of time and energy as well as a few choice words in between. Bring the missus over and I will tech you both how to reload.
