.40SW availability

Where can I find some FMJ .40SW in the San Gabriel Valley? Locating the stuff is harder than finding rooster teeth!

serious:it used to the the easy stuff to find in the beginning...now just like everything else, gotta search for it.

Normally a good bet for .40SW is the Wal-Mart on Mountain.

I saw 6 boxes there and almost picked them up, but that was long enough ago that they were gone when I thought enough to look.

I am starting to reload my .40. . . I managed to get a hold of some primers ($102 for 2K shipped)... Go to Golden West for the bullets and then it is only a trick to find the powder. . . I am looking into that right now.

Crap, I should buy a lottery ticket. Picked up 10 boxes of .40 last week at the local Walmart (all they had).

I just got 12 boxes of Blazer from the Wal-Mart on Mountain Ave.

I believe they have about 6 boxes left and they are rationing. It seems they get their shipments on Monday or Tuesday. Guy at the counter said they were full yesterday and only the 40SW was left.
