    Do you reload brah?

You know you REALLY reload when you wear out the press and start using Dillon's lifetime warranty on major parts Shout out to Dillon for making good!

Wore out my case slider, and case insertion thingy.

Considering I've added a bunch of ball bearing upgrades to this press, I am a bit surprised it only wore out at this point. Dillon said they upgraded the plastic to reduce wear, which is kinda interesting.

Funny thing is, I have not wore out the pistol case insertion thing. This is my third 223 rifle insertion thing. I shoot more pistol too!

I got the new case slide, Dillon sent a new assembly with springs and upgraded plastic. I installed the whole kit and the press feels a whole lot better.

The handle now resets better instead of sagging a bit, improving indexing.

I've been hand loading for 39 years now and can say that RCBS totally stands behind their products (even when it was ME who screwed up). Have also had warranty replacement from Lee as well.

While I do not have any Dillon tools, I will say that in the vast majority of cases it's been my experience that the big-name reloading vendors treat their customers right.

I've always been impressed by both Dillon and RCBS. Haven't had to use Lee warranty for the few things I have. Only company to leave me hanging, on multiple occasions was Hornady.

I have a Dillon 650 and two RCBS single stage presses. Dillon's customer service is great, I have had to replace two parts in the past. No questions, replacement parts sent.

My Dillons are the only presses that I own with plastic parts. I use the steel turret presses (Lee, Lyman and Redding) more and they've been going without repair since the 1980's.
