    is there a die like this???

    hello all,
    i've heard rumor of a die that ppl use to turn spent 22lr brass into FMJ jacketing. any truth to this rumor? if so i'm interested in getting my hands on one. any links???

    Truth not fiction.
    But it's been a long time.
    One of the big bullet makers started out this way in his garage making hunting and target bullets.

        Corbin makes them -- as well as some others - they can also be homemade if you have access to a lathe -- try asking on the cast boolits website - swagging forum --

        Bit of trivia -- If I recall correctly these dies were developed during WWII when bullets for sporting purposes were not available -- I think Fred Huntington of RCBS was a primary maker -- Rock Chuck Bullet Swage = RCBS
