Lyman Reloading Manual #50 and a single stage press with carbide type dies. I suggest a RCBS Rockchucker Kit. Starline Brass will have brass if you need new brass. They are excellent and shipping is included in their prices.
Read the manual and it will answer 90%+ of your questions.
If you live near me I would be happy to help you learn to load.A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Get a few manuals. I like Lyman and Hornady.
For the press I would find a used 550. Buy once cry once. They work great. I also use a second cheap Lee single stage for de-capping and misc stuff.
I also really like the hand decappers as you really dont need to focus on decapping so you can do it on the couch with a bag of brass and a tuperware container for the caps.
My process is always decap>tumble>load for handgun.Comment

I like the following books:
-Speer Manual
-Sierra Manual
-Ken Waters Pet Loads
Pet Loads is dated, but the theory is still relevant. And, he has a LOT of background info on all the cartridges he covers.
If I was to get another book, I'd add the Lyman manualComment

Look for some local shops that lean toward reloading, not all shops do. Many shops sell firearms, ammo and some reload supplies are side business type goods. (I am not knocking the shop, just not their main interest.)
When you get a book you will end up with a dozen or so over time. Something different in each.
Started with a single stage RCBS and still use it, added a Lee turret for most handgun loads. I don't shoot enough to have a need for progressive and being retired I have the time.
Get what you will be comfortable with and as stated earlier, enjoy the addiction.Comment
