    Black Friday sales...

Although probably too early to speculate, but I checked prices for Xtreme's Black Friday sales and a google search for extreme bullets shows they had a 15% off sale at one time... but my records indicate 3 years ago it was about a ~18% discount.

I'd like to try Acme's lipsticks in .358 cal, and 9mm, as I now have a 3rd firearm that spits 9mm, and with all the Freedom Week Happy-sticks, and joy of owning them legally, they are going to need to be fed... and looking to feed them cheaper.

Can anyone post what what the Black Friday deals were for prior years from projectile MFRs/Distributors (Acme, Missouri, Rocky Mountain, etc.)?

You should check out Brazos Precision. Their regular price on hitech coated bullets is cheaper than any of the other manufacturers even with 15-20% off.

I've shot thousands of their 135gr bullets and love them. Accurate and well made. Many guys over at the Enos forum have converted over. Great group of folks running this shop too.

I pay 5.4 cents per bullet for the 135gr. The lower weights are even cheaper. I think the 115gr is under 5 cents per. They have sample packs. Order some to try first.

      THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!

I think I will try their 9mm AND .38 (.358) SPL., as this could save me $1.88 every hundred rounds of 9mm too, even over Black Friday Deals for Xtreme plated!

      .0502 per 125gr 9mm, NICE.

We'll see if I need to get the lead out, in the PC carbine...

Oh, that 18% off Xtreme deal due to a Black Friday AND a my Vet. discount....

        Xtreme Black Friday/Week Deal

Xtreme's "Black WEEK" deal right now...

Xtreme downed their game recently(?), as right now 1-25lb orders are "shipping" for an additional $12.80
Xtreme downed their game recently(?), as right now 26-50lb orders are "shipping" for an additional $20
Xtreme downed their game recently(?), as right now 51-75lb orders are "shipping" for an additional $30
So shipping is now charged for @ Xtreme, and you'll have to calc that into CPR.

It appears that brazosprecision.com is the better deal, as the shipping is FREE with 4x835ct 125gr, for CPR, (Hitek coated) but not plated...
1-3 sets of ~835ct 125gr they charge $14 flat rate shipping. $168.00 for ~3340ct 125gr Hitek, or about $0.05 ea is what Libreoffice Calc is saying... Their sample packs are more, it seems.
1st order, it seems, you can also get a 10% discount on top of that!

I use Brazos Precision. Great bullets & customer service. Prices are the best I've seen on line. I use the 9mm 125 gr bullets.

I reloaded with Brazos Precision HiTek coated lead bullets on: 9mm, 38SPL, 45ACP, 44SPL. Brazos's price and customer service second to none.

How fast do you push .38 and .44 SPL?

              Any leading?

                  These are from my notes.

                  - 38 SPL, 125gr, 0.358", FP (Brazos called Truncated Cone), Brazos Hitek coated lead.
Titegroup, book said 3.2-3.8, I loaded with 3.2 gr (light load). I crimped at the top part of the bullet, covered the top groove and top valley. The completed round is SHORT b/c I crimped very high. It shot OK with revolver, I guess it may have problem with semi b/c the round is too short I do not have 38SPL nor 44SPL semi so this is just my speculate based on the experience of short 45ACP round shot OK on 1911 but FTFeed on HK USP Elite .
Leading: I had leading inside the cylinder, no leading inside the barrel.

                  - 44SPL, 200 gr, 0.430, FP, Brazos Hitek coated, Lead.
Titegroup, book said 4.5-5.4, I loaded with 4.5 gr (light load), crimped in very high, same as the way I crimp 38SPL. Shot with revolver, and had the same leading problem as the 38SPL.

You asked how fast I pushed 38SPL and 44SPL. The answer is I do not know ? I just loaded the light load.

I tried both with 357MAG, and 44MAG. In my experience for indoor shooting punching paper, the magnum load are: spent more powder, made louder sound, pump more adrenaline to your brain, the accuracy is the same.

I will shoot all of these (couple thousand) of those bullets then order some more with one size over and let's see what happen.
