I use the Red (HV) stuff in three rifles - a Savage bolt, a Marlin semi-auto and a Winchester semi-auto.

I can take out shotgun hulls at 50 yards with the Savage and the stuff feeds and fires perfectly in the semi-autos (which I don't shoot nearly as much as the Savage).

I did have some failures to fire in the Savage but that seems to be cured.

I think I paid $189/case from Target Sports two years ago plus shipping.

Hmm. I read that Aquila ammo is made in Mexico by Industrias TECHNOS in a plant originally set-up by Remington. That info is easily found. Google.

Aquila 22LR gives a unique smell after its shot. Not a bad smell just noticeable and different.

Meh, some firearms love it some don't. I've found it to be very dirty (unburned powder) in pistols.

I shoot both standard and high in my Henry 22, AR7, wheel gun and an old Savage. No issue. But I usually use steel plates as targets for my .22lrs. The copper plated for indoor ranges.

I also shoot their, 9mm, .40,. 223, 5.56, .308 and 7.62x51, no issues with any of it. All range friendly. I am going to try the mini shells they have. I bought the adapter for Mossbergs to properly feed the mini.

Everybody wants a deal. Just ask Harbor Freight & Taco Bell. Across the board, Agiula is sub par ammo
when compared to reputable ammo manufactures from the US or Europe.

Aguila is owned by Federal, it is perfectly fine to shoot

I bought a brick of this, and although it was more mushy lead than others, during the shortage a brick was about $90+... It worked okay.

I did notice I got more mushed (partial shaved) projectiles during feed-jams in my 10/22, MKIII and MKIII 22/45's than say CCI minimags.

I recall it being pretty dirty, like most 22lr.

I've been using Aguila Pistol Match in my standard pistol for a couple of years. Works well. I did have one case that had about a 5% failure to fire (no primer compound, as near as I could tell), but that's also happened with CCI Standard velocity.

Its the only thing I shoot in .22 now. I found that it works great in all my .22, both SV and HV. I like it so much I bought enough to last me and my daughter many years back when it was much less expensive.

I picked some up on the cheap a while ago. Ran fine in my AR .22 (TacSol) and my Ruger Mk.III. Accuracy was fine at 20' - I was running drills, more than target shooting at the time.

I bought 5k rounds of the red label, HV. No issues in the guns, but, they have a thick coat of wax or grease, which gums up my McFadden Machine Ultimate Clip Loader.
