I have an LR308. It started as a DPMS Panther. Here in CA I had to buy an off list lower. I mostly shoot cheap Hornady 150 BTB. The accuracy is still +-MOA at 100 yards. I typically load Varget powder. I could load better but I choose to settle with the accuracy I get with this set up. It is not a fine target gun but 308 is fun to shoot.

43.7 grains Varget behind 168 grain Sierra hpbt. I shoot same ammo out of bolt gun and AR10. Sub MOA at 100

43 gr Varget and 175gr SMK loaded to mag length. 1K load out of a 20" boomer

41.5g of IMR 4895 or 4064 with 168 Hornady hpbt in mil brass is what mine like ....+- MOA @ 100

42.5 gr Varget with Hornady 178 gr A max was my go to for silhouette. I got a better deal on them than Sierra SMK and they were accurate enough for silhouette.
