Hornady Case Feeder - Solution for This Issue?

Running a case feeder on my Hornady Lock n Load AP press. Works really well aside from this problem. As you can see by the photo, the case dips down and wedges between the v-block and the plate. It's not every case but often enough to slow me down. I've tried the different sized v-blocks but nothing seems to help.

The paper clip helps push the case from the bottom because the block does not go all the way down and slide on the surface.

Hornady needs to redesign the case feeder. It needs to slide along with the bottom with a bevel at the leading edge. It would be much nicer.

it also needs some kind of brass sweeper in the bucket area to prevent jams and "brass rain", similar to what dillon has. as shown on this video

oh, and while they are at it might as well redesign the funnel/drop chute so that 9mm doesn't turn sideways and jam up.

basically the entire case feeder needs to be redesigned

This and I've put one of those felt furniture pads under the v-block.

The other question is the tipping caused from the shell plate indexing a tad slow? If so you can shim the drive hub. This helps if the leading corner is causing the case to tip on entry.

I tried the paperclip but it didn't work that well. I ended up using the felt idea and that worked like a charm. Took a little bit if fitting but once I got it, ran like a champ. I loaded 400 rounds today and only had a couple of cases that tipped.

Its actually running really well now. At minimum it doubles my output. Well worth it. Honestly, I don't think I could go back to loading without a case feeder. Not at the rate I'm going through ammo.

I did both of these (used red paperclip to match the press) and they solved all the issues I was having with my .45ACP cases tipping.

It also allowed me to optimize pawl adjustment to align with the primer shuttle

I believe that would only be new molds for the V-blocks.
