Bulk prices for .45/.357 bullets

I'm looking to purchase a few thousand polymer coated .45 and .357 bullets in a few months.

Does anyone know if any bullet manufactures have discounts during the upcomng holidays?

Blue bullets, bayou bullets, missouri bullets, doesn't matter. Just don't want to make a purchase if there is going to be a discount during black friday/new years.

i paid $34.50 for 500ct 125gr coated TC .38 cal bullets from falcon shipped. Brazos has the same bullet for sale, qty 840 @ $47 shipped. Acording to Brazos' FB page they are giving 1st time customers 10% off through end of Sept.

Just what I'm looking for. Any recommendations on 230gr round nose or 200 gr swc? I'm trying to decide whether to stick with 230gr or move down to the cheaper 200 gr load.

i have shot 230 and 200gr. i couldn't tell the difference for just plinking rounds.
i usually just buy whats cheaper and go that route.

Depends on what you're trying to do.

The 200gr SWC will cut a cleaner hole on paper, will feed better through a bullet feeder, and may be a bit more accurate.

If you're trying to make a certain Power Factor, the lighter bullet will take more powder to push it to a higher speed.

I prefer the 230gr in a revolver (loads more smoothly) and the 200gr in a semi-auto

It would just be plinking ammo. I'm leaning towards 200gr SWC. Lower cost per unit and it seems to be a reliable alternative to ball ammo. Thanks guys. Brazos will be getting my business this month.

I just got a shipment of them last week and they look really good...if you don't mind the gold color coating.

I got 4 packages of the 230gr RN and 2 packages of the 200gr SWC. I'm loading them over charges of VV N310

Make sure to just put it in your cart to check shipping for a total CPR AVG...
Some places charge shipping, some do not, and some have free (or minimal) shipping sales.

Reporting back: the .45 200gr SWC from Brazos precision is absolutely superb. Highly recommend. They ship 2 day priority with USPS if you purchase at least 4 boxes. One hell of a deal if you ask me. Some recent groups with my .45 @ 7 yards. Still working on my trigger pull [emoji2960]

So I decided to try out Brazos due to this thread. Ordered up 4 packs of 45acp. Order was shipped priority mail 11 days ago. It seems to be MIA.

For those that have ordered from them, do they pack the orders adequately? I'm betting the box ripped open, spilling all the pills everywhere.

They pack bullets 15lbs at a time in individual sealed bags. Of the 10 bags I received, only 1 ripped. Double boxed with thin foam wrapping inside to protect the lead.
